Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pool Manager to oversee the operations of our pool facility. The Pool Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members, while also managing a team of pool servers. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage pool staff, including servers, bartenders and other support personnel
- Train and educate staff on pool safety protocols, emergency procedures, and member service standards
- Monitor pool activities to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations
- Respond to any emergencies or incidents that occur within the pool area
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool facility, including regular inspections and necessary repairs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent member experiences
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Experience:
- Must have previous experience in a busy, fast paced working environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in shift management and scheduling preferred
- Knowledge of guest service principles and practices within the hospitality industry
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
