  • CCNB, Coastal Carolina National Bank, is an established and growing community bank. We are seeking a full-time, Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager in Myrtle Beach to join our dynamic team. The position will work closely with the bank's credit department and commercial lending team to properly underwrite and manage this market’s commercial loan portfolio and grow the bank's commercial lending market.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Effectively manage commercial loan portfolio to ensure proper loan performance by collecting annual financial statements, analyzing the loan relationship and completing ARRs on an annual basis.
    • Look for ways to enhance and deepen existing banking relationships of all clients in the loan portfolio.
    • After thorough credit analysis, prepare the Credit Approval Report and narrative for loan approval consideration.
    • Underwrite and analyze market commercial loan requests and recommend approval or declination.
    • Work with City Executive and Treasury Services Officer on making joint calls to solicit new commercial deposit and loan relationships from existing customers and new prospects.
    • Diligently work any past due loans for payments on an ongoing basis.
    • Handle commercial loan appraisal reviews and preparation of in-house evaluations for loans in the market.
    • Ensure in-house evaluations are emailed to borrowers as required.
    • Look for opportunities to generate new loan and deposit relationships from new prospects through community involvement activities.
    • Coordinate all market construction line of credit draws as outlined in loan procedures by engaging inspector, reviewing inspection and completing draw advances.

    EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting or Financial Management.
    • 3 years experience in commercial loan underwriting, cash flow analysis, and commercial loan documentation.
    • Experience in community involvement activities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
