    We are currently looking for a talented, self-motivated Marketing Director who will take a hands-on approach to create content and developing audiences across all of our platforms. In this role, you’ll spend your days as a key marketing contributor, developing strategy and managing business planning for a variety of channels. You’ll use your keen sense of brand style and voice to direct envy-worthy content, aligning strategies consistent with overall company goals. You’ll lead a team of specialists and creatives to execute plans. The perfect candidate will thrive in a fast, deadline-driven work environment and manage multiple projects with ease.     In order to do this well, you will have a deep passion for the Espresso Parts brand and lifestyle, i.e., specialty coffee, barista life, imbibery, and all things espresso—and you’ll exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why your ideas are analytically sound. Most importantly, you will play a major hands-on role in any given campaign. You will be working with leadership on fast-paced and exciting projects.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Strategic Planning;
      Plan and execute strategic goals and action steps with regard to Marketing and Sales targets. Develop marketing projects from start to finish and track results. Be responsible for customer acquisition and revenue targets.
    • Leadership;
      Manage a team of marketing specialists, internal and third party, to assist you with the execution of strategies. Ensure that these team members meet deadlines. Communicate job expectations, give feedback through consistent coaching and counseling, and enforce policies, procedures and best practices. Provide regular reporting on key metrics.
    • Brand Image;
      Own and build the style guide and champion the brand tone and consistency across all platforms. Manage an extensive library of intellectual property and digital assets, including historical archives.
    • SEO Website Performance;
      Direct strategy and execution for both on-page SEO and off-page SEO utilizing third-party relationships. Optimize all stages of the customer experience and funnel, from acquisition to retention.
    • Creative Writing;
      Develop and assist with writing, editing and proofreading original content (blog posts, ad campaigns, social media, email campaigns, etc.) Act as a brand steward to assure all writing is one voice and advances established brand narratives. A passion for storytelling.
    • Email Marketing;
      Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends. Utilize predictive lifecycle and retention marketing platforms via third-party vendor.
    • Photography;
      Manage photography team to ensure consistency across all platforms with regard to product photography and lifestyle photography.
    • Social Media & Influencer;
      Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their respective participants (Blog, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and how each platform can be maximized in different scenarios.
    • Creative Assets;
      Develop strategies to build and implement creative assets to use across all mediums to drive traffic to achieve strategic targets.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES & EXPERIENCE:

    The candidate is expected to have experience with specialty coffee, e-commerce marketing funnels, and brand marketing. You must be able to assist in formulating marketing plans and then carry them out. You must be able to measure and document the impact of marketing, and then suggest action steps to increase impact. Creative writing a must. Demonstrate strong planning skills, prioritizing and managing conflicting demands to meet deadlines. Exhibit a high level of accuracy. Able to navigate successfully and positively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where change occurs rapidly. Motivating and supportive through change. Considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; looks beyond things accepted as “given” to suggest creative approaches. Maintains confidentiality and high ethical standards. Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (CC) to create and manage assets preferred. Coffee industry experience preferred. Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience.
