Power Scheduler develops and maintains daily, weekly and monthly schedules for power generation, storage, and wheeling. Monitors and coordinates generation and interchange according to contracts and pooling arrangements. Being a Power Scheduler schedules all power purchases and sales with other utilities. Maintains logs documenting all relevant operating information, problems and issues. Additionally, Power Scheduler requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Power Scheduler occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Brunel has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler with our client who is a leading mining company. This position is based on-site at the Chino site in New Mexico.
This is a long-term, contract position on a 4x1 rotation (4-weeks on site, 1-week WFH) for candidates who are outside the geography.
This position will work on rotation on-site in Arizona at the Safford mine site. Accommodations, housing, transportation, and a monthly stipend will be included.

Gather information, conduct analysis, and prepare reports and presentations of information to communicate potential issues and concerns as needed on the project.
Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule.
Identify, determine, and communicate design changes, scope changes, schedule slippages and potential impacts and participate in the identification of mitigations.
Ensure trends of cost and schedule are identified, well documented and ensure the change management process is followed and communicate and suggest corrective actions
Ensure all planning is conducted in accordance with company standards and procedures and that schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures are followed.
In addition, determine potential schedule / progress impacts of potential risks as they are identified
