Power Systems Rental Operations Manager jobs in Atlantic City, NJ

Advantage Rental & Sales is looking for a motivated, sales driven individual that is knowledgeable of small to heavy equipment to assist customers at the rental department counter. The primary role of this position is to provide the most professional customer service while suggesting equipment and supplies to meet the customers’ needs. Pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payment
• Prepare merchandise for display, or for purchase or rental
• Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of product and services
• Answer telephones to provide information and receive orders
• Greet customers and display the type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for rental
• Prepare rental forms, obtaining customer signature, driver’s license and picture of rental equipment before it leaves
• Receive, examine and tag articles to be altered, cleaned, stored or repaired
• Inspect and adjust rental items to meet the needs of the customer
• Explain rental fees, policies and procedures
• Reserve items for requested times and keep accurate records of items rented
• Provide information about the rented item, such as availability, operation and description
• Advise customers on use and care of merchandise
• Other such duties may be required
• Heavy lifting may be required for this position

Skills and requirements:

• Superior customer service skills
• Knowledge of construction/landscaping equipment
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Have a strong mechanical background
• Have the motivation to work individually and in a team setting
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to pass background check

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
