Trader Joe's is unlike any place you've ever worked. Trust us on that. The qualified person has at least 5 years of Payroll & HRIS experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/HR is strongly preferred. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, California.

The Sr. Payroll/HRIS Analyst Is Responsible For

• Processing full cycle multi-state payroll.
• Reviewing payroll data and documents for accuracy.
• Processing tax deductions and other government-mandated deductions.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws.
• Researching new tax and sick leave laws.
• Creating or modifying reports in HRIS system.
• Creating or modifying workflows in HRIS system.
• Utilizing communication, analytical and technical skills effectively with all HR functions and HRIS system provider to ensure proper completion of projects.
• Participating in routine meetings and projects as requested.
  
  

The Qualified Candidate Has

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
• Working knowledge of Dayforce HRIS is a major plus.
• CCP is a plus.
