Additionally, Power Trader, Sr. typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Power Trader, Sr. typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     Description

    Project Coordinator I - Government Services

    The Government Services Project Controls Department at POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator.  The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team, responsible for technical editing, document control, organizing, and assisting with project activities under the direction of Project Managers and Project Engineers.  This position has a wide variety of client contacts and must professionally represent POWER. The Project Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the execution of project deliverables and ensuring milestones are met on multi-discipline complex Government Services projects. Other responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Available to work in the Meridian, ID office 2-3 days/week.
    Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities
    • Create, review, and submit employee expense reports and ensure compliance with Federal (FAR) regulations.
    • Create and process Purchase Orders.
    • Support Senior Project Coordinators with the creation and maintenance of engineering documents such as reports, Design Analysis/Basis of Design, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and drawing packages. 
    • Provide a high-quality review of the engineering documents by proofreading reports, and checking for grammar, punctuation, consistency, and proper formatting under the guidance of a Senior Project Coordinator.
    • Ability to work well with multiple team members.
    • Ability to multi-task among projects and tasks efficiently.  Among the various responsibilities, Project Coordinators manage deadlines, deliverables, formatting documents, and filing documents.
    • Coordinate and communicate relevant project information to the team.
    • Track project schedules and deliverable changes during development.
    • Manage project files and follow document retention policies.
    • Responsible for project access to secure project files.
    • Verify citizenship and required training of team members working on Federal projects.
    • Support the development and maintenance of Project Execution Plans, team rosters, and group contact cards.
    • Support and attend key project meetings (internal or with the client) at the Project Manager's discretion; this includes providing conference planning, scheduling, and completing meeting minutes.
    • Willing to travel and work overtime when it is required.
    Required Education/Experience
    • Technical editing (proofreading, grammar, punctuation, formatting) experience
    • Solid organization skills including quality, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Must be self-motivated with a proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
    • Familiarity with working on a network
    • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, and SharePoint
    • Adobe PDF application experience 
    Desired Education/Experience
    • Associate degree preferred
    • Two (2) years experience in the roles and responsibilities listed above
    • Intermediate to advanced MS Word skills
