Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. You will be assembling wheels and tires for Volkswagen vehicles. Unloading tires, loading wheels and tires on assembly line, assembling wheel frames, installing wheel weights, etc. We have both shifts available. 1st shift runs from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. 2nd shift runs from 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM. Monday - Friday and every other Saturday. Both Shifts start at $15/hr. When applying please state what shift you are available for. Immediate start date is available.
