Precision Assembler jobs in Lompoc, CA
Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Are 18 years or older
- Are looking to make a piece rate of $18.00 - $25.00
- Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle
- Love to tinker and build stuff, and are experienced in assembling grills, patio furniture etc.
- Enjoy working in home improvement stores
- Can travel to multiple stores in a region
- Have your own hand tools (cordless drill, basic hand tools, etc.)
- Can stand, kneel, and bend for several hours a day
- Can lift between 50 - 75lbs.
