Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Purpose
Provide consulting services, expertise, training and troubleshooting for the sale and support of solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Ag. Strategy and other aligned technology and applications. Serves as the primary point of contact for both customers and dealer staff as it relates to technology sales and troubleshooting information.
Responsibilities
Bonus potentially tied to the PAES (Precision Ag. Engagement Score) and other metrics.
Commission: percentage on AMS products sold by the Specialist.
