We are looking for someone with commercial cooking experience, and creativity to make healthy children's meals. Our program provides a morning snack, lunch and afternoon snacks for 100 kids every day. Experience with food ordering, safe serve training, catering and menu planing is a plus. Laker Prep Early Childhood Center in Detroit Lakes, MN is looking for one cook - cafeteria to join our 30 person strong team. We are located on 551 11th Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prep
• Cook dishes to business standards.
• Anticipate needs of available food and act accordingly
• Follow and maintain health and safety guidelines
• clean dirty dishes and weekly/monthly cleaning

Qualifications

• Experiencing working as a cook or back of house
• Ability to work independently towards success
• Safe Serve
• Familiarity with cooking equipment and utensils
