Position Overview : Craft Machine is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, fold, or straighten metal sheets and plates according to specifications.

This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Responsibilities : Set up and operate press brake machines to bend metal sheets and plates to precise angles and dimensionsInterpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine bending requirementsSelect and install appropriate tooling and dies on press brake machinesAdjust machine settings, such as speed and pressure, to achieve desired bending resultsMonitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and accuracyInspect finished parts for defects, dimensions, and quality standardsPerform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performanceFollow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuriesQualifications : High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with press brake machines and their operationAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric tolerancesStrong mathematical skills for calculating bend allowances and anglesAttention to detail and precision in performing bending operationsPhysical strength and stamina to lift and maneuver heavy metal sheets and platesKnowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to press brake operationsPhysical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 poundsStamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periodsVisual acuity and attention to detail for inspecting finished partsAbout Craft Machine : Craft Machine is a leading manufacturer of precision metal components and equipment, with over 50 years of experience in the industry.
