Reviews job specifications and complete setup tasks, including filling ink, calibrating machine, and loading stock. Being a Press Operator Assistant - All Widths conducts visual inspection of samples prior to running job. Performs in-process quality inspections utilizing standard testing protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ∙ Set up and run digital printing and finishing equipment on which competency has been documented by the Production Manager, including, Zebra Printers, New Foil Machine, QLS Printer, Smart Mark Machine and similar equipment listed on the Skills Matrix ∙ Performance of all scheduled maintenance operations as directed by the Production Manager ∙ Diligent adherence to the First Article Sign Off (FASO) and related QMS procedure. ∙ Achievement of quality and productivity targets established by the Production Manager ∙ Cooperation with all team members in the efficient execution of manufacturing processes ∙ Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S principles. ∙ Maintain a safe and injury free work environment. ∙ Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. ∙ Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. ∙ Must be detail oriented and very organized. |

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: ∙ Documented digital printing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. ∙ Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Strong Excel, Outlook, Bartender and Label Matrix) and experience with an ERP system is preferred. |
