Daybar Southeast Manufacturing is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our growing team in Largo, Florida.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Production Team reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for taking up a variety of supporting tasks in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on producing a finished product of superior quality.
Excellent time management skills, good communication and teamwork is essential as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers to ensure production and warehouse procedures are carried out.
The ideal candidate should have:
1. Strong product knowledge of hollow metal products.
2. Minimum 2 years experience on CNC Brake Press or similar
3. Ability to run and make minor changes in programming on the CNC Brake Press
4. Knowledge of using a computer.
5. Knowledge of using and operating forklift, power and hand tools, accurately read a caliper and tape measure
6. Ability to read work orders, blueprints, sketches, templates, elevations and understand instructions
7. Bending of custom and standard profile steel door frame components within tolerances using CNC Brake Press in accordance to the work order, blueprints, sketches, templates and elevations
