    As Financial Analyst you will support financial planning and reporting for a company’s business unit. You track a company's financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to build, forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports!

    How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

    • Ensure transparent and comprehensive controlling within the Business Unit, managing key processes such as forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, and performance reviews, while optimizing KPIs and processes to meet business needs.
    • Oversee Month-End Closing activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and maintaining auditable books and records.
    • Lead the planning processes, including monthly forecasts and the annual budgeting cycle, to ensure accurate financial planning and alignment with business goals.
    • Prepare and deliver monthly controlling reports, including headcount, cost center controlling, productivity, warranty reserves, and new order reports.
    • Support balance sheet reconciliations for specific accounts, such as AR, BIE/CIE, and AP, while assisting with internal and external audits.
    • Drive digital transformation in controlling by implementing modern tools, enhancing reporting processes, and promoting digitalization initiatives through employee training and project support.

    What You Bring (requirements)

    • BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
    • 4 years of accounting/finance experience is required.
    • Expert-level financial, interpersonal, analytical, and digital literacy required. SAP, Excel, and Alteryx experience preferred.
    • Experience in Financial Reporting & Analysis, Budget Planning, and Ad-hoc Analysis ideally in a Multinational Corporate Controlling environment. Must possess the ability and desire to plan, control, and contribute to solving complex problems.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
