Position Overview:

At HomeServe USA, traditional direct mail print is a key driver of our business, and the print production team plays an integral part in the Business achieving its annual goals. As Print Production Coordinator, you will work closely with other Print Production team members in managing direct mail affinity mail campaigns from planning, RFQ, pack price analysis, and purchase order management through invoicing & final cost analysis, ensuring mail-out dates are maintained for HomeServe’s affinity partner brands and its own brand.

The ideal candidate for this role will understand the print production and direct mail industry specific to digital and conventional print technology and data personalization. You will use this knowledge to mitigate risk by anticipating various scenarios throughout mail campaign cycles and creating actionable plans accordingly. You will monitor the progression of projects, alleviate bottlenecks as needed, and act as a contributing member of the print production team.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively managing projects and workload by coordinating with cross-functional teams—marketing campaign, strategy, data, and creative teams to manage, plan, and execute your alignment of Partner mail campaigns for direct marketing materials.
• Manage a print production workload of approximately 4-6 mailing campaigns per month.
• Must be a strong communicator who can keep key stakeholders informed on schedules, delays, or any issues related to delays in mail campaigns.
• Assist in the development of specifications for new print components when necessary and negotiate effective pricing. Working with team members to estimate project costs when needed.
• Work proactively with print and mail vendors to ensure continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for new and existing marketing materials.

• Support internal relationships with Finance, Creative, Data, Campaign Management, and Strategy to drive synergies, share best practices, and optimize savings.
• Proactive in recognizing the potential for production issues and conveying solutions effectively.
• Review art, proofs, and laser audits.

• Working with Sourcing/Procurement to set up new vendors and manage creative team vendor resources to ensure projects are delivered accurately, invoiced on time, and within the estimated budget.

• Participate in transformational projects, i.e., process improvement, innovation, cost savings opportunities, i.e., envelope standards and corresponding costs, postal savings via Data or commingling, etc.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and a minimum of 2-3 years of print production procurement experience is required.

• Display perseverance while managing responsibilities with a positive attitude and drive—especially in the face of resistance, unanticipated pivots, and project setbacks.
• An understanding and experience in the prepress and print industry specific to digital and conventional print technologies.
• An understanding of data personalization, letter shop logistics, USPS postal technologies, and SOPs associated with the production of direct mail marketing materials is a plus.
• An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with demonstrated negotiating skills and an understanding of basic cost accounting.
• You will possess excellent time management skills, an eye for detail, the ability to make decisions, and problem-solving solutions under tight deadlines.
• Someone who can manage multiple projects for print and digital channels, when necessary, with varying levels of complexity, and communicate with multiple teams.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel using spreadsheets and pivot tables, are a plus, as well as Word using tables and database experience.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus
• Competence with project management platforms, including Workfront, Asana, etc.

Salary Range: $56,453.14 - $75,270.86

Annual Bonus Potential: 5%
