Leidos Dynetics, a global leader in technology and innovation, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Corporate Real Estate team as a Print Production Coordinator in Huntsville, Alabama.
Primary Responsibilities
The Production Specialist will support internal and external customers with printed material production such as graphics, briefings, proposals, and recruiting material. This particular team member will serve as support to such tasks as document and other printed materials production. Candidate will have frequent customer interaction and ability to provide input on finished product and production methods and should demonstrate the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel. The candidate must work efficiently on large-volume document and graphics projects in a dynamic, high-production environment with short deadlines, changing instructions and priorities, and frequent interruptions.
As with most positions of this nature, from time to time the team will work long hours to meet critical project deadlines. Additionally, candidate must be comfortable working with xacto knives, large format printers and laminators, as well as industrial cutting machines. Candidate may also be asked to deliver production items to appropriate departments.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville – North Alabama area.
Candidate must possess a high school diploma with 2 years of applicable experience.
Position will require candidate to show proficiency in MS Office 2010 or higher as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge and experience applying industry best practices, techniques, standards, processes and systems in support of all document services production (printing, binding, laminating, cutting, trimming etc.) is desired.
Lifting of paper, outdoor signs, and other supplies may be required (up to 50 pounds).
The diverse tasking and stakeholders will require an ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as under minimal supervision.
Candidate should demonstrate advanced organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through, and should have experience handling multiple, highly complex tasks simultaneously. Candidate must be self-motivated, value teamwork, and display strong communication skills.
Responsible for minor maintenance of reproduction equipment by solving paper jams; placing services calls and conduct routine cleaning.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
Preferred candidate will possess a Secret clearance.
Experience working in a sign or print shop is considered a plus.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
