As a Production Planner, you will Work with the Production Manager to plan and monitor Production schedules.
Your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing productivity. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain high-quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. **Production Planning:** Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels to meet delivery deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
2.**Capacity Planning:** Assess production capacity and capabilities to determine the feasibility of production plans and make adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or resource availability. Determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand
3. **Coordinate with Departments:** Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless execution of production plans and resolve any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
4. **Inventory Management:** Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
5. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements in production planning processes and implement appropriate solutions.
6. **Data Analysis:** Analyze production data, performance metrics, and trends to evaluate production efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
7. **Communication:** Communicate production schedules, priorities, and changes effectively to all stakeholders, including production teams, supervisors, and management.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES:
