    Key Responsibilities

    Project Execution:

    Take charge of executing New Product Development (NPD) projects and strategic program initiatives, precisely as determined and ranked in importance by the Product Management team. This key responsibility involves managing the entire lifecycle of new product development, from initial concept to final production. It encompasses coordinating with various departments to ensure that each phase of the development aligns with the overall business strategy and meets the high standards of the Musical Instrument Industry. This role also requires effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee that all projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

    Vendor Management:

    Manage and monitor vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to compliance and quality control standards. This includes regularly evaluating vendor performance, addressing any issues related to product quality, and ensuring that vendors meet the rigorous standards expected in the Musical Instrument Industry. Additionally, take responsibility for production and capacity planning for specific product lines, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, meet production targets, and align with the company's strategic goals.     Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree (or 6 years of relevant work experience), preferably in MI product
    • At least 6 years in advancing roles in project, product, operations, or technical management, with a strong preference for experience in Musical Instruments, Professional Audio or Electronics.
    • Proficient in project management, with skills in communication, personal leadership, and teamwork. This includes adeptness in managing stakeholder expectations, project timelines, scope, budgets, team resources, issues, and providing regular updates both internally and externally.
    • Experience in managing and negotiating with international manufacturers.
    • In-depth knowledge of product development processes for specialty or technical products.
    • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft products, databases, and reporting tools.
    • Ability to acquire work/travel documents (i.e., passport and visa) as required by various countries (20% international travel).

    Pay Rate: $72,300- $129,400 / annually depending on background and experience.
