SPECIFIC TO GREENE COUNTY EMPLOYMENT: The Greene County Circuit Clerk's Office is now accepting applications for an available part-time court clerk position. Court Clerk positions within the 31st Judicial Circuit and within the Circuit Clerk’s Office are employed through the State of Missouri and include the state benefits that are outlined within this announcement.
Primary duties of this position consist of but are not limited to: assisting the courts with the scanning of daily work, processing search warrants, and assisting the Civil and Domestic Divisions within the Circuit Clerk’s Office with various work duties. The applicant filling this position will frequently interact with the public, court personnel, attorneys and/or law enforcement agencies. Additional duties may involve financial assignments and responsibilities that consists of receiving, disbursing, and balancing of monetary funds.
In order to successfully perform the duties of this position applicants must be detailed orientated, have the capability to multi-task between various duties, be proficient in data entry, and must model a high degree of professionalism and respect while serving as a court employee. Former experience is not required to apply, as thorough hands-on training will be provided to all new hires and will continue throughout employment.
Minimum Qualifications: (Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis provided a high school diploma or GED has been obtained):
▪ Associate degree in a related field or at least 60 semester hours from an institution of
higher learning and one year of varied administrative experience performing a wide range
of technical office duties.
▪ Three years of administrative experience may substitute for degree.
