What You’ll Do

• Support the design and construction of a variety of new and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities.
• Production of drawings on AutoCAD/Revit for Structural. Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules.
• Provide training and technical support on BIM projects using Autodesk REVIT.
• Coordinate structural modeling with multidiscipline project teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals.
• Create initial REVIT project setup with workflow documents. Responsibility for the structural team’s development of project models.
• Work with the BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results and incorporate new design into the existing facility models.
• Oversee daily model management, administration and maintenance.
• Assist with BIM custom content creation and tool development.
• Develop and maintain structural CAD standards. Develop and mentor less experienced design staff.
• Present 30% 60% 90% model reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams. Complete field work independently or with the design team.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 7 years of C&S drafting for building or Industrial projects.
• Proficient in Revit Structural and experienced with Navisworks. Experience integrating REVIT products with other applications (Autodesk, Cost Estimation).
• Experience developing BIM Content: Families - parametric, formula nested, type catalogs.
• Experience working with vendors on content download and update to Company Standards.
• Experience supporting linked views and others in multiple models’ situation.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines and ability to work with a diverse team.
• Detail-oriented and technical yet experienced enough to see the big picture. Able to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines.
• Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion. Self-directed, highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering or ITE drafting certificate or equivalent.
• Experience developing fabrication (LOD 400) level drawing packages.

Salary: $58,567.88 - $70,533.36 per year
