Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Summary: Seeking a Process Engineer with experience in GMP regulated environments and knowledge of combination product assembly equipment.
Requirements:
Master's degree and/or 2 years of working in a GMP regulated environment or Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of working in a GMP regulated environment
Knowledge of combination product assembly equipment and applicable testing
Direct experience with the manufacturing process for devices, combination products, label & packaging operations
Experience working with Final Drug Product equipment suppliers
Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of automated and semi-automated combination product assembly equipment initiatives
Manage or apply extensive technical expertise (characterization, validation, trouble shooting) in the assembly of combination products
Apply advanced engineering principles to more than one area of engineering (process, unit operations, equipment, devices and materials) in complex process optimization, scale up and manufacturing support projects
Top Must Have Skill Sets:
Knowledge of combination product assembly equipment and applicable testing
GMP process equipment design, testing, characterization and validation
Additional Notes:
Candidates must be vaccinated
