Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Join our dynamic team as a Process Engineer. The position adds value to the organization by systematically monitoring, reducing, and stabilizing internal scrap costs and maintaining a control system to ensure performance problems do not re-occur once they are eliminated. Position is responsible for the fabric finishing (tenter frame/oven) processes. Ensure setups are optimized, review scrap metrics, outline scrape issues, work with quality on field rejections and how they could translate back to the process. Outline new tools and technology to improve processes.
