    AESC seeks a highly skilled Process Utilities Engineering Lead who will play a pivotal role in our Global Industrialization Development group.     What You Will Do

    As a Process Utilities Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing process systems such as compressed dry air, steam, RO (Reverse Osmosis), wastewater, and DI (Deionized) water, hazardous gas and chemical storage systems. Ensuring the safe handling of materials such as NMP, and nitrogen. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives, and provide technical expertise to enhance the engineering and design processes within AESC. Your responsibilities will encompass design, documentation, mentoring, and active involvement in construction and commissioning activities.

    • Develop concept and detailed designs for the storage of hazardous gases and chemicals, adhering to safety standards.
    • Ensure compliance with regulations while designing storage systems.
    • Collaborate with mechanical and HVAC teams to address dust collection and exhaust challenges within cleanroom environments.
    • Work closely with the EHS team to identify and mitigate risks associated with hazardous material storage and processes.
    • Provide process engineering support to operations, assisting in the resolution of process-related issues.
    • Act as a subject matter expert (SME), offering technical guidance to the engineering and design teams.
    • Lead concept and detailed process designs, including scope development, Basis of Design documentation, PFDs, P&IDs, 3D pipe design, pressure drop analysis, simulation (e.g., Aspen), pressure relief valve calculations, and Pipe-Flo modeling.
    • Develop Sequence of Operations and Controls Narrative documents.
    • Act as the point of contact for technical inquiries during field construction and commissioning activities.
    • Review process design work conducted by colleagues to maintain the highest level of quality in deliverables, including P&IDs, plan drawings, and single-line iso's.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced engineers within the team.
    • Create, develop, and review piping and valve specifications for process and mechanical systems.
    • Review and update master piping and equipment specifications.

    What You Need

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
    • 8-10 years of proven experience in chemical process engineering, including hazardous material storage and cleanroom environments.
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Proficiency in process design tools, including P&ID software, 3D design software, and simulation tools.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Experience in leading and mentoring engineers.
