    Process Engineering Manager will lead start-up of new processes, capital expense projects from conception to completion, Continuous Improvement Program, provide engineering support, and is responsible for realization of organization’s sustainability objectives.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Must follow all Safety, OSHA, ISO and QMS procedures set forth by the company.
    • Able to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
    • Must use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Exercise diplomacy in all facets of the job.
    • Manage workload while multi-tasking and concurrently leading departmental functions.
    • Exhibit a positive attitude, high integrity, and high degree of professionalism.
    • Ability to support Holland Colors’ unique people-oriented culture.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop annual budget including capital expenditures, project proposals highlighting ROI justification, and Process Engineering cost center.
    • Responsible for divisional Sustainability metric tracking, reporting, and performance.
    • Establish assignments for Process Engineering team, track and assess projects to ensure advancement.
    • Deliver improvement in PPH, FTR, yield, and capacity.
    • Manage attendance, vacation, discipline, and leave requests for department.
    • Lead training and personnel development for department.
    • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new associates.
    • Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure project timing, objectives, and budget are achieved.
    • Make annual wage increase recommendations for department.
    • Develop and sustain a continuous improvement culture in daily operations.
    • Oversee continuous improvement efforts and provide counsel to team leaders on facilitation techniques, quality systems, process improvement, people development, and safety improvement.
    • Perform time and equipment utilization studies to support efficiency improvements.
    • Effectively communicate with all relevant stakeholders.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or chemistry required.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
    • Minimum two years’ experience in a leadership role preferred.
    • Proven project management and change management skills required.
    • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
