Job Summary:
Welcome to the forefront of automotive excellence! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chemical, Materials or Mechanica Engineer to step into a role as a Paint Process Engineering Associate. As a Paint Process Engineering Associate, you'll spearhead advancements in the paint procurement and application process, leveraging your expertise in robot programming, mechanical acumen, and process engineering.

Paint Plant Operation and Management:

• Set targets for the paint plant and develop strategies to achieve them, focusing on production volume, quality index, and HPV (Hour Per Vehicle).
• Analyze production and quality data to improve productivity and paint quality.
• Implement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and optimize operations.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of operators, providing feedback and training as necessary.
• Report progress on major tasks to superiors and expatriate coordinators.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Profitability Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop strategies to reduce labor, material, and management costs.
• Search for and support the implementation of new control methods and technologies.

Education, Personnel, Safety, and Organization Management:

• Develop recruitment plans and implement employee training programs.
• Ensure a safe working environment and prevent safety accidents.
• Build strong relationships with other manufacturing units for effective communication.
• Strengthen organizational cohesion through employee engagement and communication.
• Provide guidance and assistance to technicians at lower levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Materials or Mechanical Engineering
• MS Office Advanced User: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• SolidWorks, CAM programming, continuous improvement, assembly, and programming experience desired
• Extensive knowledge of external markets and current trends.
• Experience in data analysis and proposal development.
• Competency in teamwork, planning, problem-solving, communication, strategic thinking, and flexibility.
• Must be Authorized to work in the US and NOT require company sponsorship.
• Able to travel Domestically and Internationally
• Fluency in Korean preferred.
