Sr. Process Engineering Manager

Job Description:

The Sr. Process Engineering Manager is responsible for directing and leading a team of engineers and technicians to support all facets of our equipment related to operational stability and continuous improvement. The Manager provides vision and expertise in terms of next generation improvements necessary to overcome issues and challenges with existing equipment. This will include focus on items such as improvement in operational run life of equipment, environmental emissions, safety enhancements, procedural, etc. In addition, the scope also includes vendor management as a large degree of responsibility. Developing and maintaining KPI's that clearly indicate the health of the department and operational equipment and using such data to drive improvements will be a large portion of responsibility. The engineering manager will act as an expert in both engineering and operational ownership and will report directly to the Site Leader role in Nashua, NH.

Responsibilities:

• Defines business unit processes for key expansion activities.
  
• Owns key deliverables and reports out of progress.
  
• Proactively identify risks and roadblocks; works cross functionally to mitigate.
  
• Project management oversite of key Chatham Station Start Up deliverables.
  
• Proactively drive change to ensure success of the project, the team, and the business.
  
• Utilizes KPI's daily monitoring to ensure departmental health.
  
• Monitors key KPI's and can quickly intervene, as needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven ability and knowledge of Lean Practices, Six Sigma is a plus.
  
• BS in an Engineering discipline with a strong project management background.
  
• >5 years in a management role within Engineering.
  
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment, at both a detailed execution level and a strategic level.
  
• Previous high-volume manufacturing experience.
  
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
