Process Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met. Provides assistance related to the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment, processes, and plants. Being a Process Engineering Technician may suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications or calibration changes that could result in improved productivity or reduced costs related to production. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Process Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Process Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Description:
Will support and develop manufacturing solutions for a manufacturer in the Sarasota/Bradenton area producing motor operated valves, peristaltic pumps, and fractional horsepower AC motors. Candidate must have several years’ of hands on experience in electromechanical assembly processes.
Required Skills:- Process flow mapping
- Work-station fixture development and design
- Interface with machine shop and other subcontractors
- Development, implementation, and ongoing support of automated solutions
- CAD software modeling
- Assist with process and equipment problems as they arise in manufacturing
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Assist Engineering and Quality with process capability analysis for new and existing product
- Work with Quality to develop effectively in-process quality controls, sampling plans, and operator training
Experience:- AS in ME or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience
- ProE or Inventor
