The Position: We are looking for a supervisor to manage and direct the hourly work force within the Mid Mill - this would include departments such as Material Handling, Cleaning, Die, Drawing, and Galvanize.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shift operations of the Mid Mill for responsible departments.
• Supervise 20-30 hourly Union employees in assigned area.
• Responsible for compliance to all safety standards, programs and meetings.
• Responsible for compliance to all quality and production standards.
• Interface effectively with other members of supervision and personnel from other departments and ISWA personnel.
• Responsible for engagement of assigned workforce, safety, productivity, and quality.
• Responsible for housekeeping, yield, and process control.
• Other duties as assigned to meet Liberty goals and objectives as required.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years supervisory experience in Industrial setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft software.
• Mechanical background and leadership traits with ability to understand differing points of view.
• Ability to troubleshoot/ diagnose.
• Ability to comprehend complex machinery with ability to problem solve, multi-task, and make decisions.
• High energy with positive influence on engagement initiatives that develop personnel with focus on team-oriented goals.
• Ability to look beyond the norm and develop practices that may include 'outside the box' ideas to further attain corporate success initiatives.
• Independent action in all regards to recognize the importance of inclusion and benefits from all.

PAY RANGE: $56,825 - $65,000

The Location: Liberty Steel & Wire is based in Peoria, IL.
