Job Summary

The Produce Department Manager-In-Training assists the Produce Department Manager with overseeing daily operations in the Produce Department. Duties primarily revolve around assisting the general management of the department employees, which include, but are not limited to, providing, and demonstrating task instructions, keeping attendance, and measuring key performance indicators. You will be expected to assist the Manager with keeping records and produce reports that will be used to review team performance.

The Produce Department Manager-In-Training will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Physical Requirements

· Standing, walking, sitting, lifting 50%

· Using hands to finger, handle or feel, talking hearing, tasting, smelling 25%

· Reaching with hands and arms, climbing, or balancing 25%

Lifting Requirements

· Ability to lift the following pounds safely:

o Up to 10 pounds 37.5%

o Up to 25 pounds 37.5%

o Up to 50 pounds 25%
