Product Development Manager manages the staff, resources, and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Incorporates research and concept development projects and capabilities with market analysis, industry intelligence, and customer monitoring to support product roadmaps and innovate new products, enhancements, and redesigns. Being a Product Development Manager coordinates with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products meet development targets and support the organization's financial goals. Develops teams with the knowledge and expertise to fulfill product development objectives. Additionally, Product Development Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Product Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Product Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     General Manager Duties:

    • Oversees the entire operation of the restaurant.
    • Hires good people and keeps them motivated.
    • Is responsible for the completion of all administrative tasks and reports.
    • Responsible for MIT training (managers in training).
    • Responsible for the safety and sanitation of the restaurant.
    • Be able to understand and analyze P&L statements.
    • Supervises all staff.
    • Terminates marginal employees.
    • Trains all new employees.
    • Performs all employee evaluations.
    • Responsible for restaurant level marketing (community involvement and business to business marketing).
    • Performs all cash outs and bank deposits.
    • Monitors restaurant operating expenses.
    • Orders all inventory and constantly monitors all levels to ensure the supply is adequate.
    • Pitches in and performs a variety of tasks as needed.
    • Provides excellent Guest service and ensures Guest satisfaction.
    • Lead by example.
    • Write Schedules.
    • Conducts Daily and Weekly inventories.
    • Compiles P&L Statements.(depending upon organizational structure)
    • Prepares payroll. (depending upon organizational structure)
    • Authorizes all payments. (depending upon organizational structure)
