Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. is looking for a Product Software Engineer II to join their dynamic product development team. As a team member, you will be responsible for working with a group of software engineers and collaborating with development leads to ensure the successful implementation of products and solutions for clients. The team is based in Columbia, Maryland, and works in a hybrid environment. Please note that remote work is not available.

**Note: This is a direct, 6-month temp-to-perm role, with a potential to become permanent after six (6) months.**

Here's what you will do in this role:

• Participate in the technical design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions that ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build highly interactive and customized front-end and back-end applications for web, desktop, and/or mobile platforms.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure coding standards and code quality adherence.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new tools and frameworks to enhance software development processes.
• Continuously improve software development practices and processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Participate and collaborate in agile sprint ceremonies.
