Collaborate with Sales, Product Engineering, and Marketing Departments to execute processes for new product development and product changes

Conduct market research to understand customers’ needs

Sense where the market is going next and be part of developing stylish, innovative products that will meet future demand

Provide insight on trending products, pricing structures, and product lifecycles

Coordinate and direct project plans that correspond with management’s deadlines

Guide on pricing structures and positioning

Communicate and maintain product lifecycle updates to internal and external customers for any changes (additions, improvements, discontinuations, etc.) to our product offerings

Maintain a detailed knowledge of company sales strategy, business planning, business processes, and systems

Evaluate and prioritize requests for product changes and enhancements
Superior Plastic Products Inc., a manufacturer of vinyl & aluminum fencing, railing, and specialty products, is looking for a Product Manager. The Product Manager plays a vital role in overseeing our product strategy and providing detailed insight on trending products, competitive pricing structures, and product lifecycles for our outdoor living products, such as vinyl and aluminum fencing and railing. As a company, we are interested in people who want to be problem solvers, treat others with respect, and bring quality to the decision-making process.
Our Ideal Product Manager:

Experienced: Looking for 3 years of experience in Project Management in Marketing or Product Development; experience managing product lifecycles. Experience in manufacturing is helpful but not required.

Computer Skills: Proficient with Office 365; MS Project is helpful but not required.

Analytical: Able to conduct market research, review the results and collaboratively develop a plan. Enjoys research and closely follows market trends.
- Excellent Communicator: Confident in writing, phone, and in-person communication. Must be confident in explaining the issues, giving instructions on the next project, keeping everyone motivated, and providing accountability.
