Product Operations Analyst jobs in Newport News, VA

The Records Operations Analyst to run a Records Management Initiative that will assess orphaned records and perform inventory. This position also prepares and presents training materials as well as meeting with organizational representatives to discuss file planning and disposition.

• Performs research and compile information  preserving important objects and documents, collects, organizes, and control over a wide range of information deemed important enough for permanent safekeeping in accordance with Federal, Agency and local policies and procedures.
• Ensures the long-term preservation and easy retrieval of documents and information.
• Must keep abreast of technological advances in electronic information storage.
• Performs day to day operations independently and comes to conclusions that are critical to the history and storage of NASA documentation and media files.
• Must independently determine which historical files are needed for presentations and executive meetings.
• Must perform functions of this position with accuracy, failure to do so will have significant consequences to the historical files needed to support the client.

• Requires two-year college level business coursework and two years equivalent work experience (formal education requirement may be replaced with additional two years equivalent work experience).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Requires proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Must possess good communication and listening skills, be detailed, and customer service oriented
