Production Assistant jobs in Buffalo, NY

Production Assistant assists with coordinating the production of television or web broadcasts, shows, or videos. Monitors designated schedules and timelines to ensure each phase of production stays on track. Being a Production Assistant collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Helps with set-up and operation of production equipment such as consoles or teleprompter, and completes any miscellaneous tasks needed for production. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision.     • All tracking for third party spray drying- PO creation, logistics to/from the dryer, conversions within inventory software, scheduling, etc.
    • All tracking and scheduling for third party warehousing- off-site warehousing requires separate tracking, inventory comparisons, shuttle transfers, and correct reporting.
    • Shipping and documentation for customer samples
    • Receiving deliveries, Customer orders (UPS/ FedEx), Pallet staging for customers, Barcode entries
    • Create and manage production schedule
    • Raw material projections
    • Managing all aspects of Purchase Orders
    • Assist production in gathering data to increase production/ solve issues
    • Coordination with Quality department to check inventory before it leaves for Wave Point
