Production Assistant assists with coordinating the production of television or web broadcasts, shows, or videos. Monitors designated schedules and timelines to ensure each phase of production stays on track. Being a Production Assistant collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Helps with set-up and operation of production equipment such as consoles or teleprompter, and completes any miscellaneous tasks needed for production. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for auditing production totals, reporting material consumption; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General

• Reviews production requirements daily.
• Maintain and updates necessary production documentation.
• Generates daily production reports for each operation detailing efficiency and downtime; publishes production statistics.
• Assists with monthly inventory reconciliation, including finished goods and raw materials.
• Organizes and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
• Promotes and advances safety and overall production efficiency.
• Assists in any research or special projects as needed.
• Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• Regular attendance is required, and work overtime as needed.
