Job Summary:
Completes food preparation assignments to assure quality and timeliness of meals. Responsibilities include: Cash register operation, sanitation of department, stocking supplies, serving in cafeteria and adolescent dining room meal service, receiving courier deliveries, assisting with catering functions, assisting cooks, preparing foods according to recipes and production guidelines, and other assigned duties necessary for continuity of service. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while begin sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
