Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. The primary function of the Production Clerk is to coordinate with Demand Planning and Production Team Leads while monitoring Medplanner to ensure the timely creation of Packaging Masters and Labels for Production runs. In addition, the Production Clerk will be a cross-trained Production Technician and work in the labs as needed.
