We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous growth. We are currently seeking a dedicated Inventory/Production Control Specialist to join our team.

BASIC DESCRIPTION:

The key responsibility is managing inventory accuracy for both raw components and finished goods, which are continuously moving. This position collaborates closely with Shipping/Receiving, Purchasing, and Production to maintain Bill of Materials, generate and close Work Tickets, and implement necessary adjustments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Generate work orders based on product demand.
• Maintain optimal stock levels across remote warehouses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to accurately complete work orders.
• Enter new items in our ERP systems with accurate and complete details.
• Make adjusting transactions for scrapped or damaged materials.
• Handle returns and coordinate with supplier on material disposition.
• Develop a deep understanding of HMI’s product range and components.
• Utilize cycle counting to verify inventory accuracy.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with minimal impact on production.
• Provide backup support for the purchasing department as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Capable of building strong cross-departmental relationships.
• Requires 2 years’ experience with ERP systems and manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory management, error resolution, and process improvement.
• High accuracy and organization, proficient in Microsoft Office; Sage 100 a plus.
• Ability to understand bill of material (BOMs), assembly drawings, and prints.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
