Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Performing three-way matching of purchase orders, goods received, and vendor invoices
    • Entry of approved invoices into the accounting system
    • Vendor Account Set Up  
    • Reviewing payable statements and following up on invoice discrepancies
    • Handling vendor payment inquiries
    • Processing and reviewing credit card transactions

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) 
    • Must be able to write, read and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information
    • Must be able to communicate with others

    Education & Experience

    • Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
    • One year of accounts payable / accounting work experience preferred

    Pre-Screen

    • Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

    License & Certifications:

    • Driver's License preferred, but not required
