Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager

    OPPORTUNITY: We are adding to the team. This role supports the Accounting Manager in the primary responsibilities of Accounts Payable. This is a full time, Monday-Friday in office position.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
    • Ensure all accounts payable invoices are processed timely.
    • Keep appropriate accounts payable records (vendor files, W-9’s, etc.)
    • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork, answering phones, managing email in-boxes.

    SPECIAL PROJECTS and DAY-to-DAY back up support in AR and Payroll as may be needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Required

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting and accounts payable.
    • Strong people skills and customer service standards
    • Ability to work in partnership and independently.
    • Associate degree in accounting or business Administration, or equivalent work experience
    • Background in general accounting principles
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.) and Excel
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, high level of integrity and discretion.
    • Attention to detail, Strong organizational skills
    • Proactive and positive attitude
    • Ability to manage various tasks and prioritize them as appropriate.

    Preferred

    • Minimum (3) three years experience with accounts receivable.
    • Experience with cost accounting
    • Knowledge of StarBuilder and/or Crystal Reports is a plus.
    • Experience performing the primary duties and responsibilities of this role.
