    Flagger Force, an industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Director of Field Operation s based out of Riverview, FL however this role can work from any of our locations in Florida .

    Job Summary: The Director of Field Operations (DFO) is responsible for developing and maintaining strong and successful relationships with assigned strategic & key contract clients at all levels of their respective organizations. The DFO's job is to learn about and understand the operational goals and business needs of these clients. They also must find a balance between the client's and Flagger Force's needs in order to provide a service experience that meets or exceeds customer expectations, which drives service growth. The DFO will supervise, advise, develop, and support the assigned field managers to ensure front line staff deliver clients in the region high-quality services. The DFO will report to the AVP of Field Operations and will work closely with the VPs of Operations and Sales to align field teams to support revenue targets and strategic growth initiatives, effectively articulate and share client insights with the organization, and contribute to the company's overall growth and profitability.

    Account Management:

    • Maintain and nurture relationships with assigned clients within the region.
    • Understand clients' needs, and objectives to provide quality solutions.
    • Regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

    Business Development:

    • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and target potential new clients and markets within the assigned region.
    • Generate leads and prospects through market research, networking, and cold calling.
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new accounts and expand the customer base.
    • Achieve growth targets and revenue goals for the assigned region.

    Field Operations:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise field personnel, including Field Managers, Area Supervisors, and other team members. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback.
    • Support, Develop future leaders at all levels in the assigned region.
    • Work closely with the Associate Vice President of Safety to ensure safe, quality work zones are established in the region.

    Market Analysis:

    • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions within the region.
    • Provide insights and feedback to the company regarding market developments and opportunities.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure that field operations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. Enforce safety protocols and guidelines and work closely with our Safety team.

    Field Communication:

    • Strategically align and collaborate with the internal communication team to ensure ongoing, effective communication channels for a highly dispersed front-line workforce. Support communication campaigns, articulate strategic communication needs and maintain personal visibility in field communication channels.

    Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, client activities, and forecasts.
    • Prepare regular reports and updates for management on Region’s performance and pipeline status.
    • Work closely with the AVP of Field Operations to ensure metrics are being met and align with the corporate goals.

    Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, business development, operational service center, and finance, to ensure client needs are met.

    Travel:

    • Depending on the company's requirements, travel within the designated region will be necessary to meet clients and attend meetings or industry events.

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
    • 5-10 years of experience in field operations management, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Ability to develop and grow client relationships.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
    • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
    • Knowledge of the industry and market dynamics within the region is a plus.
    • Commitment to safety and compliance.
