Millennium Control Systems is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Planner. As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day scheduling, planning, and coordination of production activities. You will interface with project management, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing departments. You will be responsible for utilizing Monday.com and other planning tools to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Scheduling and Updates:
- Manage and update project schedules on Monday.com and other milestone and status tracking tools.
- Ensure real-time accuracy of scheduling information.
- Track and communicate status of key project milestones.
- Collaboration with Department Heads:
- Meet regularly with department heads to adjust schedules based on dynamic work requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to address scheduling challenges and implement necessary adjustments.
- Project Initiation:
- Interface with material planning coordinators to confirm the availability of all required parts for upcoming projects by required dates.
- Signal department heads when projects are ready to commence or escalate if risks in meeting required dates.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve and mitigate delays promptly.
- Work closely with the purchasing department and material coordinator to gain insights into any delays related to the procurement of materials.
- Collaborate with the project management department to update major milestones in planning tools.
- Reporting:
- Provide detailed status updates to the executive management team on a weekly basis.
- Generate and share comprehensive reports on project status and progress.
- Identify and flag any potential delays in the production schedule.
- On-site Requirement:
- This is an in-office position and requires working in the office four out of five days of the week.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production scheduling and planning or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and organize data.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and dynamic work environments.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
