We are currently hiring a Production Control Manager for our largest U.S printed circuit board facility located in Minnetonka, MN. We will consider both experienced managers and key individual contributors looking for a new career opportunity.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Review demand and plan factory work orders
· Monitor schedule and release work orders to plan
· Track production movement
· Prioritize daily shipments
· Load work based on factory capacity
· Understand and proactively communicate factory lead times
· Develop daily, weekly and monthly ship plans. Follow up on execution and any gaps, work with other functional areas to resolve
· Provide feedback to Sales and Customer Service regarding job status and proactively provide updates
· Ensure there are no orders late to be released to the floor, work with other functional areas to resolve and prevent
· Ability to interface well with other functional managers and customers as required
· Manage and develop shipping department employees and production control personnel
· Run and analyze daily reports as well as monthly summary reports and financial reports
· Control and accurately manage finished goods inventory
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives as applicable
· Work safely consistent with established guidelines
· Follow facility safety protocol and company policies
Required Skills/Abilities:
· 5 years production control experience in a high mix environment preferred
· Strong attention to detail
· Consistent performer with outstanding dependability
· Related experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Paradigm, etc.
· Ability and interest to learn new skills and cross train
· Works well independently and also able to effectively lead a team of 5-10 employees
· Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other functional managers including manufacturing, engineering, quality and purchasing.
· Able to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization and with customers, as required
· Formal education in operations management, lean manufacturing or manufacturing planning systems is preferred but not required
