Job Title: Production Manager

Reports to: CEO

Job Summary: This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant and employees. Must have proven work experience as a production manager. Duties include production scheduling, monitoring processes to ensure safety, efficiency and quality standards are met. Coordinate timeliness of manufacturing operations to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. Must be people oriented, a high-level communicator and capable of leading a team. Implement improvements to quality, schedules, and cost saving ideas.

Requirements

· Proven work experience as production manager in a metal fabrication environment

· 8 years managerial experience

· Ability to read and interpret Prints.

· Ability to manage daily manufacturing requirements in a dynamic job shop environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to lead by example.

Job Duties:

1. Manage daily operations of the production floor.

2. Ensure department supervisors have everything they need to succeed.

3. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency of the plant.

4. Track job productivity and find opportunities for improvement.

5. Monitor quality of operations, initiating and driving corrective actions and training when needed.

6. Develop and implement cost savings strategies.

7. Coordinate equipment maintenance needs with maintenance department.

8. Coordinate stamping die maintenance requirements with Tooling Manager.

9. Use manufacturing software to monitor all aspects of jobs through completion.

10. Address employee issues or grievances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,732.00 - $82,460.00 per year
