Production Engineering Supervisor jobs in Utah
Production Engineering Supervisor supervises a team of production engineers who plan and design methods to improve or enhance existing programs. Assists in analyzing and reviewing budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Being a Production Engineering Supervisor develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Production Engineering Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Production Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. You will keep machinery and equipment running efficiently. You will also follow standard operating procedures.
What you will do:- Set up and prepare machinery and equipment
- Regularly clean machinery, equipment, and work areas
- Monitor and ensure equipment efficiency
- Check for quality of products and remove product that’s not up to standard
- Ensure good documentation practices
- Follow and adhere to regulatory standards like cGMP, FDA, and company standards
What we prefer you to bring:- Collaboration, communication, and listening skills
- Professional and detail-oriented approach
- A strong work ethic and integrity
- Time management, prioritization, and organization skills
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or production role
What you must bring:- Ability to stand for long periods at a time
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more
Pay: $19.00 per hour2 Available Schedules:
- Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
