Production Maintenance Manager jobs in Scranton, PA

Basic Job Functions:

The Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, safely maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading production equipment, process improvement, and operation support. The Maintenance team supports plant operations while working closely with all other departments in planning future needs and/or improvements. This position must help drive continuous improvements in safety, process efficiency and plant automation. This position requires working overtime with little or no notice as well as rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, as needed.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to demonstrate willingness/abilities mentioned above in the Basic Job Functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in mechanical and hydraulic processes.
• Knowledge in the electrical field.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ac drives.
• Knowledge in programmable logics controls.
• Experience with Microsoft office programs: Word and Excel
• Willingness to expand and share technical knowledge
