    The starting pay for this position is $51,000-$65,000/year. We currently offer a $600 signing bonus for 6 months of successful performance and attendance.

    Job Summary:

    The PM Supervisor directs and controls the maintenance system. This person supervises the maintenance of machines and equipment and is responsible for achieving a stable machine condition and high utilization. Additionally, this person will implement an equipment maintenance program according to standard. He or she will conduct analysis of machine quality related problems and implement the appropriate corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. He or she will support the General Maintenance Supervisor as necessary to ensure proper maintenance of the compressors, water treatment systems, and other support systems. This position provides guidance and support to co-workers and subordinates. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

    Qualifications:

    1. Two-year technical college degree or equivalent work experience.
    2. Three to five years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
    3. Experience in the administration of a Preventive Maintenance Program
    4. Three to five years supervisory experience.

    Essential Skills and Abilities:

    1. Ability to analyze and solve machine problems in all areas of the plant.
    2. Effective communication skills in dealing with a large number of personalities.
    3. Sensitivity to others, ability to motivate, initiative, adaptability, judgment, decisiveness, problem-solving, follow through, technical knowledge, creativity, innovation, planning ability, and leadership skills.
    4. Normal stooping, bending, and the ability to lift 75 pounds.

    Essential Duties / Job Responsibilities:

    1. Prepares a schedule of equipment maintenance with the Production Manager. Ensures proper part usage per scheduled preventive maintenance and repair activity to prevent waste of parts.
    2. Ensures that the system is effective and implemented according to maintenance system standards.
    3. Maintains all machinery in responsible process area and provides assistance in other areas as requested or necessary.
    4. Organizes trouble-shooting activities and summarizes data to report the total machinery condition.
    5. Assists the mechanics with the solutions to machine problems and documents findings to further grow the maintenance knowledge base.
    6. Addresses chronic and reoccurring machine problems with the focus based on elimination of the root cause.
    7. Analyzes machine operation conditions and part maintenance records in order to design and implement machine improvement to increase yield and machine utilization.
    8. Analyzes parts usage to determine abnormal consumption, which may indicate variation in machine conditions.
    9. Ensures actions are taken outside of the maintenance standard to correct problems as observed. Also revises the maintenance standard based on the corrective actions taken to resolve problems.
    10. Arranges and maintains the work environmental in a neat, clean, and orderly manner, as required by the 5S program.
    11. Controls the handling of hazardous materials according to the Hazard communication Standard and Material Safety Data Sheets. Ensures proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safe practices are being applied when handling hazardous materials.
    12. Investigates accidents and prepares accident reports as related to maintenance failures.
    13. Plans, directs, documents, and measures the progress of mechanic training and controls training plan.
    14. Gains understanding of each mechanic’s ability and designs a system for performance
    15. Follows Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
    16. Prepares employee evaluations.
    17. Performs other work-related duties as requested by the Production Maintenance Manager and / or company management and officers.
