Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises staff that performs maintenance service and repairs to complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Implements standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Production Maintenance Supervisor coordinates resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs. Reviews and supports equipment failure analysis and troubleshooting resolutions. Additionally, Production Maintenance Supervisor trains, coaches, and educates workers in best practices and safety procedures. Monitors work orders to ensure accuracy and quality. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Production Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Must have the ability to work any shifts and any days.- We operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
- This may include rotating shifts – day, evening, night.
- We will Train
The main purpose and function of the Production Maintenance is to ensure the equipment is maintained to the highest level to allow for maximum operation when needed.- Knowledge of how to maintain the production equipment
- Cross-train for all position within the plant
- Ensure the plant equipment is kept in top maintenance shape
- Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area for all employee
- Communication with all employees about unsafe condition and/or maintenance needed
- Other duties as assigned.
You must:- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Stand or walk for 8-10 hours per day.
- Have basic math and computer skills.
- Forklift, Frontend loader and bobcat experience a plus
- General Plant experience preferred but will train
