Implements standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Production Maintenance Supervisor coordinates resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs. Reviews and supports equipment failure analysis and troubleshooting resolutions. Additionally, Production Maintenance Supervisor trains, coaches, and educates workers in best practices and safety procedures. Monitors work orders to ensure accuracy and quality. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Production Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. You will routinely operate, disassemble, clean, sanitize, reassemble, and stage the encapsulation and capsule polisher machines.
